DISTRICT 4 SERVICE POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE
Looking for a service commitment? There are a number of unfilled positions for District 4.
In general, 2 years of continuous sobriety and 1 year of district service are suggested for people in these positions, but exceptions are made.
People in these positions attend the monthly District 4 business meetings, held on the third Thursday at 7:30. District meetings are now hybrid, allowing people to attend in person or online.
Members of Area 11 service committees also attend monthly meetings of those statewide committees. Those meetings also are being held online.
The duties and qualifications for these posts are included in the District 4 Service Guidelines document (PDF).
To volunteer for any of these positions, contact your AA group’s GSR. Or attend a District 4 meeting, held on the third Thursday of each month: in person at the West Haven Elks Lodge, 265 Main St., West Haven; or via Zoom ID – 280 309 8550; passcode- district4
